Donovan holds; an MBA, psychology degree, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Systemic Practice from the Institute of Family Therapy. His comprehensive education provides a solid foundation to deliver therapeutic interventions for people struggling with a range of relationship issues and / or business dilemmas.
With over 16 years of experience in social work and senior management within local government, Donovan has made significant contributions across various London authorities, focusing on the needs of vulnerable young people and their families. For example as the Service Manager for the Access to Resources Team (ART), Donovan oversaw placements for vulnerable children. He managed a GBP 30 million budget, ensuring resources were effectively allocated to support children and families.
In his own private business Donovan has built up a successful property management business company which now spans several countries.
Donovan is half Ugandan and alongside his desire to see increased economic growth in the country he is also keen to develop more robust mental health services and to work to create better understanding of how poor mental health impacts on individual, family life and on the dynamism of the wider economy.
